| But if romantic is something like You're So Beautiful, why not? But I also would rather a dramatic style (he was good on Navras)... | |

I hope so. I don't like Alban's romantic performances so much...

Romantic - That's the last adjective I would use to describe ladies' skating at the moment . I like classical music - I really do, but watching ladies skating to it at the competition (for over 4 hours - cause that's how long the free programs usually last) is a bit too much. Music is such a broad field, it's giving us never-ending options, countless styles - but please please: why 90% of ladies are noticing only one? Their music picks are sometimes so weird and difficult to listen to and often sooooo overused (listening to Carmen for 764387653875683276532th time can be painful ). What's more it all makes their skating look pretty much the same - like from copy machine - there is nothing unique, individual out there. I think that currently in skating men have more artistry than ladies!!! Coming back to the topic, I think it is a well thought out decision. No one likes being given a label of any kind ( for me it was and still is frustrating). The only solution I can come up with is to fight with it by surprising people. Alban is such a talented man. A natural born entertainer - that's the side of him we know from his competitive programs but Alban surely still has some more aces up his sleeves. Either "romantic" or "dramatic" both of them have chances for success. I'll be waiting on pins and needles to hear his music choices!

| Maglosia, I absolutely agree with your statement about women skating...I just even can´t remember names ot most of them, because the seem to me really similar to each other... I am a bit afraid of that Alban´s change but on the other side even it it was not good music, Alban would be everytime great skater and there would be everytime on what to look!! I believe him, that he will make a good choice... I am begining to be keen on that!! |

| Glad that you are still here, ladies! Do you happen to know if Alban plans to have his programs choreographed by Morosov? I guess he mentioned going to USA in June. If so - as far as I know, Morosov trains skaters here: http://www.icehousenj.com/figureskating_coaches.aspx Kiki, do you plan on visiting this ice rink in the nearest future? | |

| I didn't know that Morosov left Simsbury...I was hoping I didn't hear Alban say "New Jersey" in the Grenoble gala interview. If Morosov was still in Simsbury, I could definitely go. I cannot go to New Jersey. Between car issues and trying to find a job...it's impossible. Kiki | |

| Kiki - now I'm not sure if Morosov moved to NJ I googled "Morosov, Simsbury" and this came up: http://www.isccskate.com/summerschool2007brochure.pdf He's is listed as coach there as well. He can't be in two places at the same time?! | |

He's is listed as coach there as well. He can't be in two places at the same time?! He can't be in New Jersey and CT at the same time!!! I remember Alban saying the words "New Jersey"...unless things changed and now he's going to Simsbury too...*shrug* This is so confusing.

| Alban got his A-levels with the distinction "very good", which is the best one. I guess he's either a very hard working guy or terribly intelligent By the way, the place where he trains is called Champigny, not Champagne | |
