He had some exams when he came back in France, seems that he did well.
Now he's fine, he often pass the quad when he's training, he's hoping to show it again in Tokyo

I have to admit that I read all your posts on the forum using on-line translator but obviously it a lot easier when you write in English as the results I get from on-line translator are sometimes very amusing and...messy

Looks that "You are so beautiful" program has quite a lot of fans here (me included). I heard that in fact this program was created almost in the last minute as Alban didn't expect performing at GPF Gala and he even didn't have a costume prepared :o . It's hard to believe in - so I wonder if you happen to know whether it is true or not .

I think you're right. It appears that Alban created this program in one hour, accordind to Annick Dumont. She said during the gala, I think.
Even if it wasn't really prepared, I like this program and I hope to see it sooner or later :P

It is official, Alban will go to the worlds in Tokyo. The other french men will be Brian Joubert (what a surprise! ) and Samuel Contesti. The replacements are Yannick Ponsero and Kim Lucine.

Marylin Pla & Yannick Bonheur will represent us in pairs, Isabelle Delobel & Olivier Schoenfelder and Nathalie Péchalat & Fabian Bourzat in ice dancing, and maybe Anne-Sophie Calvez in ladies.

Ok, just wanted to tell you that we're going to send a little message to support Alban for the World Championships... Does anyone there wants to participate? (we still don't know if we're gonna send it by e-mail or if one of us will give it to him when he'll be in Grenoble for a gala. But I'm keeping you aware)

Marion, I guess there was no other option - It was: either Anne-Sophie is going either no one. As far as I know, she didn't come for the first test not because she couldn't but because she disagreed with it

I have heard it was too closed to EC and she was tired...

I hope the next girls generation in France will be better than the actual one...

Samuel Contesti gives up for Worlds because of his injury to Achilles tendon.
Yannick Ponsero will replace him.

So french men skaters will finally be the same as at Euros : Brian, Alban ans Yannick.

Awww...I feel sorry for Samuel. He had no luck this season.
Yannick will have a chance now to redeem himself after his "traumatizing" LP at Euros in Warsaw.

The problem with Yannick is that he has a huge potential, he will have very good results when he passes all his jumps, but for the moment he can't. We talked a little with him in Warsaw after his free program and he said he was so sorry about that, it is always the same, he can't do two clean programs...
But I believe in him, and I cross my fingers for him to succeed in his programs as soon as possible!
And maybe one day we will have 3 french men on the podium : Brian, Alban and Yannick... lol

Or Samuel I'm so sorry for Samuel too. He's a good skater and I love what I see to the french nationals...I hope we'll see him more next season
