Ladies, trust me...if there was ANY way I could go to New Jersey to see Alban train, I would. Unfortunately I can't go, for several reasons. One- I don't have a car. Both my parents work and need both of our cars (and both of those cars are starting to not work). My dad destroyed my car last October, and when it's time to decide who gets the car, I'm last. Two- I'm starting a new job soon.

I'm so sorry to disappoint you ladies. If Alban was training in Simsbury, there might be a chance I could go with some bargaining from my parents. Why did Morosov have to leave CT?!

I'm still "working" on my mom to see if we can go to Skate America in October. Wish me luck.

What is your route ?

I come from Grenoble but I lived for a long time in Charleville-Mézières where I began the skating in 6 years. After the high school diploma, I came on Paris for the training and the studies. Then I made two years of faculty in economy / management. I wanted to make a prépa but it was incompatible with the skate. Then I did the competition sports high-level.

Not too hard to manage schooling in the ESCP and high-level sports route?

I have four hours of training a day. The high-level sportsmen do not have, contrary to what we could believe, fitted out schedules, but we are entitled in much more than 3 absences maximum which are authorized to you and the Profs. are more accommodating. On the other hand, thanks to our status, we can spread our schooling over 4 - 7 years, I plan to make it in 4 years.

And as regards the trainings course and the agreements of exchange?

There are no specific arrangements either, what sometimes raises problem: last summer I was able to make my training course to Courchevel in the service of the sports of the city hall, what allowed me to continue to train in parallel. On the other hand, I do not yet know how to get organized for period abroad because in 2010 there are the Olympic Games, and I could not train wherever!

Have you sacrifices to be made?

I regrettably have no time to involve me in the life of the school. I even had no time to fill my index card campus but I live it well.

What do you plan to make after your career in the skating?

I do not want to lock myself in there all my life. I study to open doors, why not in the organization of event.
Before “Holiday one Ice” that tempted me in no way because I saw that as of the spectacle little interesting technically.
Now, I could maybe have soloes thus why not.

Your best and your worst memory?

My best: World championshipsEvent of 2006 when I ended 8th while I did not think I could be in the 10. My worst memory, a test of selection which the union imposed last year. I had won my place at European championships but a skater appealed. The place was not any more guaranteed, that was hard to manage even if that ended well.

Your favorite program?

My short program which is rather modern and moved. I try to catch a fly on " The flight of the bumblebee ". At the beginning, it made the judges laugh but they had difficulty in putting me points. Now, I believe that they took taste there.

And the atmosphere within the Team of France?

I get well with Brian Joubert, it is a true leader in the team, he allows us to progress. We know all very well, notably thanks to the tours of official reception which follow World championships: we live together during three weeks, it is as one a little family.

Are you superstitious?

Very. I always put the right skate before the left skate, I put a lucky charm during the competitions, etc.

It's official- I'm going to Skate America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My parents said yes...we just have to book the hotel and buy the tickets, which should be relatively soon.

I'll be going to the events on Friday and Saturday but sadly, I cannot go on Sunday because I need to get back to CT for class on Monday morning. I'll be seeing both the men's events, which is really what I wanted to see anyways.
