Men- Alban + Brian (Allez! Allez!) - no additonal comments here .
I also hope to see some decent skating from Kristoffer Berntsson (his programs are really enjoyable + he's my astrological twin ) , Yannik Ponsero and Karel Zelenka.

Ladies - ahhhh It's hard to say here. I like elegant skating of Susanna Poykio but also the power and energy of Elene Gedevanishvili.

Ice dancing - Three programs that gave me goosebumps this season: Isa&Oli, Albena&Maxim and the Kerrs.

Pairs: - Aliona&Robin (they make pairs skating look so easy!), Siudeks (they will be competing for the last time ).

My favorites...

Men: Alban, Brian, Johnny Weir, Daisuke Takahashi, and surprisingly Ryan Bradley (he's such a joy to watch)

Ladies: Kimmie, Emily, Yu-Na Kim, Sarah Meier

Pairs: Dube/Davison, Shen/Zhao, Langlois/Hay, Castile/Okolski

Ice Dance: Isa and Olivier, Albena and Maxim, Marie-France and Patrice, Davis/White, the Kerrs

According to Midori's reports, Brian 's jumps look solid (he has some struggles with triple Loops but he lands them - just not totally clean as she says.
Nobunari Oda is working intensively on quads - so far is unsuccessful. He is trying quad lutz!

Women : Carolina Kostner, Mao Asada, Joannie Rochette, Elene Gedevanishvili, Sarah Meier, Susanna Poykio, Kiira Korpi and Kimmie Meissner (nearly the only girls I like).

Pairs : Savchenko/Szolkowy (my dear twin ), Shen/Zhao, Zhang/Zhang

Dance : Delobel/Schoenfelder, Denkova/Staviski, Dubreuil/Lauzon, but I hope the Kerrs and Pechalat/Bourzat will have good places...

I have a stupid question: has rumba already been used this season? Compulsory dance is hard to get on TV so I haven't heard of it so far. And I guess the other one is still tango, I'm getting fed up with it!!!

Yes, it was used at a Grand Prix (Dubreuil/Lauzon won it) and at World jr championships I think...

now - that was a really exciting morning!
It's hard to drink coffee with fingers crossed .
Eurosport showed only the last two groups so I have no idea what happened to Russian guys (must have skated disastrously - Lutai hardly qualified to the LP )

Alban didn't look happy about his SP but it wasn't that bad: 3Axel , 3Flip-2Toe, 3Lutz (a bit messy landing here). There are only 4 points between Alban and Daisuke - so everything is wide open.
